Dental Hygienists Dread Halloween Candy Madness

As All Hollow's Eve nears, many cultures celebrate with costumes and candy. Everyone's happy except for diabetics and dental hygienists. We all love sugar and the sugar rush, but our poor teeth need attending. Do these before going to bed on Halloween, lest the ghosts of plaque and tartar will haunt yoooouuuu!!!!!

1. Bring a water bottle when going trick or treating. Would be good to take a swig or two after every candy bar.

2. Try to share candy bars and just have a taste of each so you won't have to finish the entire bar.

3. Brush your teeth properly before going to bed.
